I am a writer based in South Devon. Previously an actor and playwright my published work includes the play Where Nothing Arrives and the play-poem Pig [Swamp] Songs.
My work explores the complexities of human connection, often delving into themes of reckoning, belonging, and redemption.
I was born in Ipswich, Suffolk. I trained as an actor at The Oxford School of Drama and worked professionally across theatre, film, TV and Radio for companies including The National Theatre, BBC and ITV.
My play Harmony, ‘an original, modern and poetic piece of writing’, was long-listed for the Soho Theatre Young Writers Award. The ‘beautiful and compelling’ Where Nothing Arrives is available through Playdead Press. In addition, I wrote the screenplay for the short film Falling Downhill, a selection finalist at Aesthetica Film Festival (BAFTA).
My poetry has been published in various publications online and in print, most recently Littoral Press, Dawnrider and Watkins Magazine.
Pig [Swamp] Songs, is a modern long-form narrative poem that “seems to have the memories of a century in it.’ Playdead Press published the poem in March 2023.
